This gear can also be combined with Honor PvP sets, allowing you to mix and match sources while still getting the set bonuses.These are the best place to start your PvP gearing. Most players will reach at least Honored with all five factions, as you need to be Revered to enter each faction’s Heroic dungeons.Each piece requires you to be Honored with a specific TBC faction. The amount is based on your rating and which bracket, with 2v2 rating being worth around 75% of 5v5 rating. This means that a player with 1500 rating in 2v2 and 1400 rating in 5v5 will receive their weekly points based on their 5v5 rating, resulting in a higher amount.

It is strongly recommended that you play 10 games a week, even if you lose all of them. Start early!Arena Points are spent primarily in either Shattrath City or Netherstorm, at various Arena Vendors.All battlegrounds award Marks of Honor depending on the battleground. These are used in combination with Honor to buy gear, or individually to purchase things like tabards and PvP mounts. These each have their own rewards attached to them, and their own currencies.These are rewarded for completing the daily quest Hellfire Fortifications in Hellfire Peninsula, as well as from killing blows at PvP objectives in Hellfire Peninsula and Zangarmarsh.Horde players can spend their Marks of Thrallmar at the Horde Field Scout in Zangarmarsh, or Battlecryer Blackeye in Hellfire Peninsula.Alliance players can spend their Marks of Honor Hold at the Alliance Field Scout in Zangarmarsh, or Warrant Officer Tracy Proudwell in Hellfire Peninsula.Every killing blow by you or a raid member within range of the Nagrand PvP objectives will earn you one Halaa Battle Token. Not to be mistaken for Halaa Research Tokens, which are primarily earned by farming ogres.Horde Players can spend their Halaa Battle Tokens at Quartermaster Jaffrey Noreliqe and Coreiel in Nagrand.Alliance Players can spend their Halaa Battle Tokens at Quartermaster Davian Vaclav and Aldraan in Nagrand.While technically a PvP currency, Spirit Shards are mostly earned through PvE content. If your faction controls all five Spirit Towers in Terokkar Forest, Auchindon bosses will drop Spirit Shards.
